There's no such thing as a bad poem. But there is a such thing as a really short poem. Imagine that your were reciting this in front of a large crowd. They call your name:
"letloveunite is going to recite a poem for us called "My poem sort of about love." The crowd CHEERS expecting a great delivery.
You get on stage you recite your poem and 10seconds later you're done.....
all that is heard is the chirping sound of a cricket.....[Prosper]

Well abuse is very common in a lot of families. I don't think it's something that should be taken lightly. Now maybe she is lying--she's your friend--is she known for lying? If not I would take what she's saying as a red flag.
I don't know what type of advice would be given in this situation. The only thing to do in these situations is to get out. But she may not have that option so it's gonna be a tough one.[Prosper]

About this entry: I don't know that's a tough one-- Best friends becoming lovers can become a danger to the relationship. If you guys don't work out as lovers, chances are you two wont even want to be friends afterwards. Now there are some cases where lovers break up and remain very good friends but that's a chance that you'll have to decide whether or not to take.

About your best friend-- You have to take in the fact that you left him in the cold, he's actions toward you are in response to how you made him feel after you "dumped" him. I assume you two were close. My question to you is--how do you know you weren't all he had? That's something you probably didn't consider. It may be very difficult to win back his friendship after this, because now he may feel that you have shown how much you care for him by pushing him COMPLETELY away for the affection of a boyfriend. And here's a tip--it's okay to have a boyfriend AND a bestfriend. It will balance out on it's own.
I would say that once you get his attention, you should aplogize for it and don't just say "sorry" explain why you are sorry. And one thing YOU must realize which by this experience, I'm hoping you have, is that boyfriends come and they go, but TRUE friendship last a lifetime.
So how do I know? Because I've been in "Bob's" position before.
